As I searched for alternatives, I discovered the art of handcrafted skincare and began learning everything I could about natural ingredients, traditional soap making, and the benefits of simple, thoughtfully chosen formulations.
What started as curiosity soon became a passion.
I spent countless evenings researching ingredients, testing recipes, learning from mistakes, and creating small batches by hand. Every soap, scrub, bath salt, and candle represented hours of work, patience, and a desire to create something meaningful. There were batches that didn’t turn out as planned, labels redesigned again and again, and many late nights balancing motherhood, work, and a dream that seemed bigger than my circumstances.
Today, Bella Iris Skincare remains a small artisan business dedicated to creating beautiful handcrafted products with care and intention. Each item is made in small batches using ingredients selected for their quality and skin-loving properties. From moisturizing oils and nourishing butters to botanicals, salts, and gentle exfoliants, every ingredient is chosen with purpose.
The name Bella Iris carries special meaning. “Bella” represents beauty, while “Iris” reflects both my name and the flower that symbolizes hope, wisdom, and courage. Together, they represent the heart of this business: finding beauty in everyday self-care and creating products that help people slow down, relax, and care for themselves.
